Flow Simulation: in Die Casting Tooling Design

What is flow simulation?  It is an engineering technique used during aluminum die casting die design that enables to maximize casting quality and process stability. The software runs and assesses various casting, runner and gate design and process parameter combinations. This enables casting designers and manufacturing experts to evaluate possible design options comprehensively and take secured decisions in an early development phase. 

Simulation optimizes the tool design to meet the final product requirements. It helps engineers to predict and correct potential casting problems proactively during the tool design stage.
